Cisco Secure Workload CVE-2026-20223: Max Severity Site Admin Bypass
Cisco has patched a maximum severity vulnerability in Cisco Secure Workload that lets unauthenticated attackers gain full Site Admin privileges. What Happened: Cisco Secure Workload Authentication Bypass Grants Site Admin Access
On May 21, 2026, Cisco’s Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) disclosed a critical authentication bypass in Cisco Secure Workload. The vulnerability resides in the platform’s internal REST API endpoints. Because of insufficient validation and authentication, an attacker can send a crafted API request to an affected endpoint and access resources with the privileges of a Site Admin user.
